I have wanted to start my own photography business since my senior year in high school. When my portfolio was reviewed in college I was told, I could do it. However, I started working for other photographers, because I was scared to death. This year I decided to take a leap of faith. When working for other photographers I had met some pretty serious bridezillas, the ones that are so bad you want to run away and hide. I’ve been asking photographers for advice on how they turn them away when they encounter them. Well, maybe I haven’t met enough yet, and maybe I’m jinxing myself, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE every single one of my clients. I can’t believe how many brides I have been booking off family portraits because I don’t have a sample album in yet, but some of them actually defend me when I tell them that. I can’t believe how much appreciation and SUPPORT I’ve been getting. And just when I thought I couldn’t be happier, I just received a thank you card today for an engagement sitting when they haven’t even seen the photos yet. This post is not meant to brag, I just want to say THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU. THANK YOU!
