Ray took me to the bike path where we usually go roller blading. Where we would go on a weekly basis when we first started dating. I asked him, “so why are you making make skate here when it’s going to rain? are you going to propose today or something?” and he said “why, do you want me to?” and I naturally responded “well yea” and he got down on one knee and I was ready to slap him for teasing me and he pulled out a twist tie. (that part is a long story) and he said “you said I could propose with a twist tie and you would be happy as long as you had me.” I thought he was dead serious and proceeded to laugh hysterically and put the twist tie on my finger and dangling from it was this GORGEOUS ring! I couldn’t be happier!!! No one has ever treated me better. Ray is my best friend, my mentor, my support, my photography tag team partner, and now my husband to be. =)
