So this is going to be a long one. I fell in love with Melissa before I ever met her. One day I was just checking our web stats, trying to be all business savvy checking where our website visitors come from and I stumbled upon Melissa’s blog where she wrote THIS about us. I immediately jumped up from my chair and attacked Ray in the next room to come read it. I must have reread that post every day for the next week.

Then when we met Melissa and Matt they were awesome. When they told us they wanted to do their engagement session at TCNJ and a good portion of it in the library we were ecstatic. We LOVE new locations, and we especially love when they are personal to the bride and groom.

When it came down to the day for the shoot Melissa and Matt really showed me how much they truly love books when every time I would hand them one as a “prop” they would immediately start actually reading it. I on the other hand did not bother to read anything before I handed it to them, and I may or may not have handed them a dirty book. Ray may or may not have made some “inappropriate” jokes to which everyone laughed, and I was laughing so hard I was crying, partially in embarrassment that my husband said such things.

Outside it was an absolutely gorgeous day and Melissa and Matt are the cutest couple and so into each other and so good at making each other laugh. At one point I told Melissa her wedding pictures are going to be so gorgeous. In retrospect I see how arrogant that may have sounded, but what I meant was, that regardless of any brides looks, their wedding venue, and/or their photographer, a happy bride is a beautiful bride. The best thing anyone can do for their pictures, is to enjoy their day, embrace whatever happens, and smile. I know without a doubt Melissa is going to do that, and so her pictures are going to be gorgeous. Matt of corse will be handsome too. Don’t want to leave him out.
