What a way to start our 2012 wedding season. A beautiful winter day of about 60 degrees and sunny and an all around great group of people to be around. Portia and Blake were so easy to work with and couldn’t have been nicer people. In fact everyone at the wedding was just incredibly nice and there to have a great day.
They had a beautiful ceremony at The Carriage House and we got to witness a great tradition for our first time which was “jumping the broom”. Right after the ceremony we had a few moments for portraits of the happy couple and as soon as they get in each other’s arms you can see they belong together. We had a really fun time hanging out with everybody at the reception and Blake’s twin brother gave a toast that will certainly be a contender for the best speach we hear all year. Blake even managed to gain a little fame just before their wedding thanks to a fun video on CNN. Thanks so much Portia and Blake for having us at your wedding and for starting off our 2012 season so great.

We knew a videographer would be too much of a burden on our budget (because trust me, you will need every penny you can save!) so we decided to look for a photographer who could capture a plethora of cutting-edge photos such that we wouldnt need a videographer. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! They did not miss a moment!!! NOT ONE!
-(FUN! FUN! FUN PEOPLE!) We had soooooo much fun with our photographers that one would think they were invited guests and not vendors! They danced with us…joked with us…and MOST IMPORTANTLY CELEBRATED WITH US…(and psst! They stayed longer than we had contracted them to stay).

The worst feeling in the world is a bride and groom who, after the ceremony, reception, and return from the glorious honeymoon, forgets some of the moments from the day (because trust me, you will not remember it all) and realizes that their photographer missed those moments…YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE w/KGM. They caught moments that we had no clue took place during our day because they were everywhere!
