Take a look at most of the photos of Katie & Matt and you will see laughter. This couple knows how to have fun together! We had a blast hanging out with them and their friends and family all day laughing along with them. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Scotland Run and thankfully the rain held off just enough for some outside photos. We’ll let them tell you a bit more about their wedding below. Congratulations to you both and thanks for having us document your day.

At the start of the day I felt surprisingly calm. I was excited and just wanted to get it all going! – Katie

Getting ready with my bridesmaids was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. We are all so close and the day happened just as I had imagined it would. – Katie

I loved having my brother and wild friends there with me while I was getting ready to take the plunge! – Matt

Before I walked down the aisle, I was kind of freaking out. I all of a sudden got super nervous and relied on my Dad to give me a pep talk. – Katie

When I saw Katie for the first time when she came around the corner, I thought “Damn! That dress is sexy! I’m about to marry that beautiful girl!” – Matt

I cannot wait to see the picture of the balloon release. Besides that, my favorite pictures before the reception were probably the ones of just Matt and me. – Katie

I loved when Ray would take a bad-ass picture and have to show Katie & I right away! – Matt

I’m not one who loves the spot light, but during our first dance I was pretty relaxed. I kept telling myself it was just the two of us and no one else in the room! I knew i couldn’t look around the room at anyone or I was toast! – Matt

During our first dance, I was desperately trying to just listen to the song, which I loved so much. However, all I really kept thinking was that I was moving too fast and we were just moving in one spot!! – Katie

I don’t think I can choose just one part of the reception. The excitement at the beginning with the bridal party entrances was awesome, the speeches were all so heartfelt and of course, I LOVED dancing with everybody. – Katie

Katie & I went out for night photos with our wedding party and it was sure worth it…the drinks were flowing and Ray & Kim took some great photos – Matt

The day FLEW by. Everybody tells you that, but I don’t think I truly believed it until one of our groomsmen told me that there was only 20 minutes left of the reception. Also, I am SO proud of my brother, who delivered the sermon and married Matt and me. He did an incredible job-it was truly exactly what I was hoping for. – Katie
