Kim and Dan got married on a beautiful day at Seaview in Galloway. Everything took place there which made our day nice and easy. Kim and Dan are total goof balls. Nothing makes us happier on a wedding then happy people. It’s not the venue, the clothes, not even the timing that makes us happiest. It all boils down to the people. It makes the day go by smoothly, it makes it feel like anything but work, and it even makes editing the job fun. Ray and I both couldn’t help but laugh so hard again and again looking through these images. While we were prepping for the first look I was telling Dan how people always think their families are going to shock us but we have seen it all and nothing ever surprises us. Then later in the evening we heard the craziest speech ever and when we took Kim and Dan outside for a dusk shot, Dan just had to ask, and I had to admit, that was definitely a first for us. Sorry folks, unfortunately we can not repeat what was said on this blog. Instead we will leave you with some crazy reception photos. We met up with Ashley and Dan a few weeks ago on a slightly chilly overcast day at Atlantic County Park. They were all smiles and laughter though. It made for a nice and relaxed evening. Ashley and Dan’s wedding is coming right up in June. We know these two high school sweet hearts are going to have a fantastic and fun wedding that we can’t wait for.

What an awesome wedding to kick off the season! Laura & Michael were such a great couple to hang out with all day. Laura and her family were so relaxed while they were getting ready. It was a beautiful spring day so we were able to get outside for quite a few photos. Laura & Mike planned the wedding with plenty of time between the ceremony and reception so we stopped at Knight’s Park in Collingswood to have some fun with the bridal party and get a few more photos of the bride & groom before heading to Palmyra Harbour Hall for the party. Palymra Harbour Hall has such a great view of the water, and while every other time Laura had been over there is was windy, it was incredibly calm and peaceful on the day of their wedding. Laura and Michael were even kind enough to let us sneak them out of the reception for a few photos in front of an incredible sunset over the Delaware River. Thank you Laura & Michael for having us at your wedding and for making our job so easy!

We met up with Chrissie and Steve on a cold spring day at Batsto Village, a place we love to shot and haven’t been to in a while. We have to really give Chrissie credit for braving the cold and very windy day in her dress and still keeping a smile on her face. It is always great when a couple is totally comfortable together and Chrissie & Steve are a perfect example. They know how to laugh together and were constantly goofing around. We had a great time getting to know the two of them and we can tell the wedding will be a fun day.

It’s so easy to get spoiled photographing babies when they are as good as Aubrey was. We met up with Stephanie, James and their beautiful new daughter Aubrey at Stephanie’s parent’s house. It’s great to photograph a brand new baby and we get to capture the incredible happiness that inevitably shows on a new mother and father’s face. Stephanie and James have a great new addition to their family and we were thrilled to get to photograph them all together. If Aubrey keeps going like she did on this shoot she will have a career in modeling ahead of her! Congrats Stephanie & James on your beautiful new daughter and thanks so much for having us out.

It was great to get out and do an engagement shoot again, it had been a while, and Kourtney & Todd were a great couple to kick off the season. We met up with them down at Cape May and started out walking through the state park. Kourtney and Todd seemed to always be laughing and really made it easy for us. We enjoyed getting to hear the details about their upcoming wedding and getting to know them a little bit more.

After a while we headed down to sunset beach in Cape May where the two of them had previously found a huge piece of driftwood that just so happened to have their initials in it – a perfect reason to finish up the shoot there. Kourtney & Todd, we wish you a wonderful wedding and a great life together.

We met Dan from Due Amici Italian Grill & Catering while working a wedding a few years ago and have been having a blast working with him and his crew ever since. He is a wonderful guy with a great attitude, he is incredibly nice and always laughing. In addition to being great to work with the man knows how to run a wedding. Every time we are working with him we know the day is going to be an easy one. He keeps everything running smooth and takes care of his brides.

A couple of weeks ago we finally set some time aside to stop at his restaurant in Cinnaminson, NJ. We highly recommend you do the same. They recently remodeled and of course the best part is the food, which is outstanding! It’s a wonderfully cozy place to stop for a meal on a cold winter’s day and they have a beautiful outdoor area that we are sure is a great place to enjoy a summer evening dinner – we’ll let you know since we will definitely be going back again.

It was said during one of the toasts at the reception that Caitlin is the type of person to keep her feelings to herself, so when you could see the tears streaming down her face as she danced with her husband for the first time you could tell how in love they were.

Caitlin & Frank planned a wonderful winter wedding that started at the beautiful home of Frank’s parents, continued at the magnificent church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in Atlantic City and ended up at The Carriage House which was decked out in a splendid display of Christmas Lights. With a lot of beautiful locations and warm enough weather to go outside it was a great winter wedding.

Caitlin told us just as we photographed her and Frank that one of the things she was really hoping for was a pretty sunset. She got a gorgeous one! Caitlin and Frank, we wish you both the best together and congratulations on your marriage.

It’s not very often that we photograph a bride and groom getting ready together before the wedding, in fact this was the first time. Bonnie and Buzz already have an amazing family with 2 daughters and 3 sons so their wedding was the final step in bringing them all together. From the moment we walked into their beautiful home everyone was happy and having a blast. Watching the two youngest boys get ready and dressed up certainly brought smiles to your face.

Once everybody was finished getting ready we all headed over to Valenzano Winery for a chance to get some photos of the couple together before the ceremony. It was certainly one of the colder winter days we’ve had so far and the incredible wind kept us all inside but thankfully the winery has plenty of places for indoor photos and Bonnie & Buzz are so in love they made it easy for us. Just asking them to stand together they would start to play around and have fun, always smiling. You can tell they are meant to be together.

For the reception we had the pleasure of working with one of our favorite caterers Dan & Johanna from Due Amici, they always run a great party and DJ Joe Mosier is always playing amazing tunes. We also got to meet and work with Tom from Alliance Video who was a great addition to the day. We thank you Bonnie & Buzz for having us be a part of your wedding day and we know you will both have a wonderful life together. Congrats!
