Boy do we love photographing teachers’ weddings!! I don’t know what it is about teachers, but they are always so organized and on top of things. Even the guys were good! Danielle had all the details laid out and ready for us when we arrived at her parents’ house. When we showed up at Kevin’s parents’ house all of the guys were on time, half dressed just like we asked, and ready to go. Normally shooting large wedding parties can get a little tricky, but everyone on this wedding made it so incredibly easy. Everything ran on time, and everyone was so cooperative. SWEET!!!! It was a non stop exciting and fun day and a non stop exciting night at Cescaphe Ballroom and we were thrilled to be a part of it. It was also great to work with Tom from Alliance Video. Congratulations Danielle & Kevin! We wish you both all the best.

Kim and Dan got married on a beautiful day at Seaview in Galloway. Everything took place there which made our day nice and easy. Kim and Dan are total goof balls. Nothing makes us happier on a wedding then happy people. It’s not the venue, the clothes, not even the timing that makes us happiest. It all boils down to the people. It makes the day go by smoothly, it makes it feel like anything but work, and it even makes editing the job fun. Ray and I both couldn’t help but laugh so hard again and again looking through these images. While we were prepping for the first look I was telling Dan how people always think their families are going to shock us but we have seen it all and nothing ever surprises us. Then later in the evening we heard the craziest speech ever and when we took Kim and Dan outside for a dusk shot, Dan just had to ask, and I had to admit, that was definitely a first for us. Sorry folks, unfortunately we can not repeat what was said on this blog. Instead we will leave you with some crazy reception photos. Kim and Dan, thank you so much, truly, sincerely, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding! Congratulations!

What an awesome wedding to kick off the season! Laura & Michael were such a great couple to hang out with all day. Laura and her family were so relaxed while they were getting ready. It was a beautiful spring day so we were able to get outside for quite a few photos. Laura & Mike planned the wedding with plenty of time between the ceremony and reception so we stopped at Knight’s Park in Collingswood to have some fun with the bridal party and get a few more photos of the bride & groom before heading to Palmyra Harbour Hall for the party. Palymra Harbour Hall has such a great view of the water, and while every other time Laura had been over there is was windy, it was incredibly calm and peaceful on the day of their wedding. Laura and Michael were even kind enough to let us sneak them out of the reception for a few photos in front of an incredible sunset over the Delaware River. Thank you Laura & Michael for having us at your wedding and for making our job so easy!

It was said during one of the toasts at the reception that Caitlin is the type of person to keep her feelings to herself, so when you could see the tears streaming down her face as she danced with her husband for the first time you could tell how in love they were.

Caitlin & Frank planned a wonderful winter wedding that started at the beautiful home of Frank’s parents, continued at the magnificent church of St. Nicholas of Tolentine in Atlantic City and ended up at The Carriage House which was decked out in a splendid display of Christmas Lights. With a lot of beautiful locations and warm enough weather to go outside it was a great winter wedding.

Caitlin told us just as we photographed her and Frank that one of the things she was really hoping for was a pretty sunset. She got a gorgeous one! Caitlin and Frank, we wish you both the best together and congratulations on your marriage.

It’s not very often that we photograph a bride and groom getting ready together before the wedding, in fact this was the first time. Bonnie and Buzz already have an amazing family with 2 daughters and 3 sons so their wedding was the final step in bringing them all together. From the moment we walked into their beautiful home everyone was happy and having a blast. Watching the two youngest boys get ready and dressed up certainly brought smiles to your face.

Once everybody was finished getting ready we all headed over to Valenzano Winery for a chance to get some photos of the couple together before the ceremony. It was certainly one of the colder winter days we’ve had so far and the incredible wind kept us all inside but thankfully the winery has plenty of places for indoor photos and Bonnie & Buzz are so in love they made it easy for us. Just asking them to stand together they would start to play around and have fun, always smiling. You can tell they are meant to be together.

For the reception we had the pleasure of working with one of our favorite caterers Dan & Johanna from Due Amici, they always run a great party and DJ Joe Mosier is always playing amazing tunes. We also got to meet and work with Tom from Alliance Video who was a great addition to the day. We thank you Bonnie & Buzz for having us be a part of your wedding day and we know you will both have a wonderful life together. Congrats!

Lynn was so excited when we first saw her at the Red Door Spa as she was getting her hair and makeup done. She told us about all the last minute prepping for the wedding and about their rehearsal the night before. She could not stop smiling and was so visibly happy we knew we were going to have a great day with her and Tim. After we finished up with Lynn we headed over to meet up with Tim and then the rest of the girls in the bridal party. As soon as Lynn got into her dress we all headed over to the beautiful St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Brigantine.

Before the wedding Lynn and Tim had asked us if they could do some photos on the beach right after the ceremony since the church was right next to the beach. We of course said we would but we cautiously warned them about the weather since going on the beach in December can certainly be cold. When the time came on their wedding day it was no question – we were going to the beach! It was so nice that we were able to hang our for a little while without anyone freezing to death, what a lucky day. After the beach it was back to Stockton Seaview for a few more portraits outside and then in to the party. We got to work with our good friend Andy from Extra Step video who is always so nice and a blast to work with. Lynn and Tim thanks for having us photograph your special day and we had a great time with you both. Congrats and we wish you the best.

Amanda & Shayne’s wedding was just like most fall weddings, a cool sunny day, a great group of friends and family, and a really fun and happy couple. It was the same in many ways which is truly amazing because of what Amanda & Shayne had gone through leading up to this wedding. Imagine having to re-plan your wedding inside of 2 weeks because a freak hurricane all but washed away your original reception location. No problem just book another place quickly, then an early season snow storm knocks out power to the hotel you plan on getting ready at, again no problem, just get ready at your reception location. Amanda & Shayne managed to pull all of this off and still have a smile on their face all day long. Amanda kept saying all morning long, everyone is here and that’s all that matters, what an amazing outlook! Lakewood Country Club put on a beautiful wedding on such short notice and everyone truly had a great time. If you had not been told any of this you would have thought this was just another wedding. Amanda & Shayne you are both incredible people and we thank you for having us be a part of your wedding day.

We had been looking forward to this wedding at Valenzao Winery for quite some time. Autumn and Michael are such a great couple together, and individually as well. It was so great to see one of our past brides, Jaki, officiate their wedding. Dan from Dui Amici, was awesome to work with as usual. It had rained that morning, and Dan was out there mopping up the back patio and laying down sheets so that Autumn and Michael could have the outdoor ceremony that they wanted. It was such a beautiful day and such a beautiful wedding. A great couple at a great location along with some great vendors that we know, what more could we want. Congratulations Autumn and Michael! We can’t wait to see you again!

We want to start this post by thanking Jessica & Jeff for the incredible opportunity to photograph their wedding. It was really such an honor to be asked by a fellow wedding photographer to photograph his wedding. What Jessica & Jeff neglected to tell us when they had first asked us to be a part of their day was just how awesome their wedding day would be. These two are so completly in love it is truly a joy just to be around them.

They chose to have their ceremony and reception at the incredibly beautiful Pratt Gardens. It was our first time there and when we arrived a bit early to take a look around we got even more excited for what was to come. We got started with Jessica and her family as she was getting ready. Her side of the family are definitely characters and kept the mood light with lots of laughter the whole time. As soon as Jeff arrived for their first look we took them to the spot and just let them do their thing. It’s always such a great experience for us as photographers to get to watch and document our couples as they see each other for the first time on their wedding day but this manged to be a bit more special since they are good friends. The light was awesome and they were awesome. We even managed to get a few nice moments when Jessica’s son Regan joined them in his handsome suit.

A bit after the beautiful outdoor ceremony Jeff had a surprise for Jess when he had prepared a sky lantern ceremony. It was a blast to watch everyone try to get these things in the air! We got to take it nice and easy during the reception and dance with the other guests. It was a wonderful ending to such a great day.

Jessica & Jeff you two are amazing together and I’m sure we can easily speak for all of your family and guests when we say that it was an honor to be invited to your wedding day, to witness your marriage, and to just get the chance to hang out with you guys a bit more.

Jessica and Adam were another awesome couple. We truly have the best clients. They both got ready at the same hotel, a really nice place in Princeton, that was great for photos. It was raining on our drive up and the clouds looked threatening but by the time they were ready for their first look it cleared up and didn’t rain again! Right after the ceremony Adam had eight of his marine buddies do a formation as they exited the church, it was really impressive to watch. Jessica and Adam are such great people, they are so laid back, friendly and FUN. They made us feel like friends. Jess even danced with me at the end of the night. Thank you both for having so much fun with us, and just being yourselves. Congratulations!
